Alasan Stoner Meninggalkan MotoGP
Casey Stoner made a very surprising decision. Towards the passing of the French GP this weekend, world champion in 2007 and 2011, said that he would retire at the end of the 2012 season.
After giving a statement would be hanging the helmet, Stoner also gives the reason why he wanted to leave the motor racing arena, which has made his name. In fact, at the age of 26 years, Stoner still has the potential to keep scores.
Since 2006, the Australian star has won 35 victories in MotoGP, which helped him embrace two world titles respectively with Ducati (2007) and Honda (2011). Stoner also is leading the MotoGP standings 2012, by one point over its rival from Yamaha, Jorge Lorenzo.
However, Stoner admits there are several reasons that make the passion to continue in MotoGP fade. In addition to its number ever received criticism in recent years, the policy of budget cuts CRT MotoGP technical rules also further strengthened his desire to retire.
"I've watched this championship for a long time and it's easy to see what works and what does not," Stoner said at the opening session of questions and answers in the pre-event press conference in Le Mans, France, on Friday (18/05/2012).
"This championship and everything I've done up here. This is my big dream. Then you come here and race for a few years and realized a lot of things.
"Honestly, 2009 (when Stoner have trouble fatigue) opened my eyes. Guy to this day still say it's mysterious illness. Fact that no one understands that I have Lactose Intolerance. Was a criticism to me if it had a lot to do.
"That's not the kind of people think. Was (sick) substantially deplete my energy, because I stop to absorb nutrients. Fact, no one is listening to me about it.
He added that in 2009, which became the priority is family and happiness, not money. So, when the passion has gone downhill and has reached its nadir, then the decision (retired) drawn.
"You own the media, do not get too friendly with the championship. Always give criticism, especially recently. They say that the race boring. This bored, bored it. I think people just need to appreciate what they have in front of him at the moment.
"I think everyone in this room need to be aware that the championship had already passed., I think, it would be nice to see some fantastic racing again in the future, but with only a few motorcycle manufacturer, it is difficult to occur as soon as possible."
Stoner gives an example of Randy de Puniet, who is now riding a CRT bike. With the motor "cheap", De Puniet far behind because it was at number 12, making it difficult for him to compete with the factory bike.
So according to him, this year's championship are separated (CRT and factory). In fact, the competition does not have two standards of the series, because it has the name of MotoGP, the prototype competition.
"There are many, many different reasons, but that's the most basic, which made me lose the passion for racing and enjoy this sport. Honestly, I would have enjoyed this year, but I think if it passes, it is a mistake. This would not be good for Honda, my team, and all the people, if I did not give 110 percent. "
Stoner later added that the birth of her daughter earlier this year is not the main factor for him to retire. However, the presence of Alessandra Stoner who was born on February 17, 2012 it remains a small part of the reason, so that he could easily make the decision.
